The sense of happiness on teachers' profession is the key content of their occupational life, as well as an important index to measure the quality of their working life. Paying close attention to this subject, not only does it contribute to improving the quality of teachers' working life, but also it enhances the quality of the education. My dissertation synthesizes a variety of research methods, such as asking and doing the paper, visiting and talking, consulting the literature, which have formed a preliminary research on such problems as the current situation on the sense of teachers' professional happiness in the primary school and its influential factors. On the basis of this, this thesis expounds some methods and measure to improve the sense of teachers' professional happiness.The principle conclusions of my research are: firstly, the whole current situation on the sense of teachers' professional happiness in the primary school, generally, is not so optimistic: nearly half of the researchers "experiencing the sense of unhappiness", less than half "experiencing the sense of happiness"; there does exist the sharp discrepancy to the sense of happiness on the teachers working in different ranks and distinct human relationships of the primary school , so does its sense of happiness on the female and male teachers; however, there is no great discrepancy to the sense of happiness on the teachers with the different length of services in the primary school. Secondly, the major factors to influence the acquisition of teachers' sense of happiness are: to care for teaching profession; to have a steady payment and a stable job; to be capable of realizing their capacity, that is, to enable the students to grow up and develop; to equalize their value of anticipation and achievement; to gain the support and approval of the parents.The causes to make the teachers of the primary school lose their sense of happiness may be attributed to: the low social status and the excessively high demand of the society; the tediousness and rigidity of the job; the imbalance of teachers' payment and their contribution; the improper evaluation of school's management style to teachers' endeavor; the incapability to obtain their independent right on education. Furthermore, the following elements have some certain effects on the acquisition of teachers' sense of happiness: the nature of teachers' profession; the feature of personal character; the attitude of working; the form of organizational administration; the conflict between adult culture and child culture; the utilitarism of the educational purpose.
