Based on the open questionnaire for parents and random interviews, and literature related to sense of happiness and feelings about nurturing, the author of this thesis tries the best to comprehensively get to understand the specific contents of parents' experience of happiness in nurturing, carries out typical collection of assessment indexes on parents' sense of happiness in nurturing, and finally divides parents' sense of happiness in nurturing into four parts: satisfying happiness, sense of parent-child identity, vitality and vigor, and self-growth. Based on this, the author compiles the questionnaire of parents' sense of happiness in nurturing.After three applications and revisions about the structure and items, the formal questionnaire comes into being. The formal questionnaire is trustworthy and effective.After investigating some parents in NanJing by using the questionnaire and statistical analysis, the author comes to the following conclusions:Single factor variance analysis shows:In the following seven variances such as children's age, single child or not, family structure, parents' education, parents' career, and economic level, there is no big difference in parents' sense of happiness in nurturing.But there are big gender differences manifested in mother and father's sense of self-growth. There are big differences in general sense of happiness in nurturing and sense of parent-child identity among parents with different working hours. It is manifested very remarkable in sense of self-growth. There are big differences in the sense of self-growth among parents with different ages, and the sense of self-growth tends to decrease with the increase of age. There are big differences in the general sense of happiness in nurturing between parents with a child whose gender is the same as they expected and those not. There are also remarkable differences in the sense of vitality and vigor.Multi-factor-variance-analysis and simple effect test show:There is no big difference in the influences on parents' sense of happiness in nurturing by the interactions of education, career and income.The interaction between gender of parents and career is notable. Among specialists, fathers' sense of happiness in nurturing is generally above that of mothers'. There is great difference between them. Among civil servants or staff of public institutions, mothers' sense of happiness in nurturing is generally above that of fathers'. There is also great difference between them. There are big differences in the sense of happiness in nurturing among mothers of five professionals.The interaction between whether the gender of the child is the same as parents expected and parents' age is notable. When the gender of the child is not the same as parents expected, parents' sense of happiness in nurturing will gradually decrease with the increase of age. The differences among groups with different ages are very remarkable. The interaction between gender of parents and their age is notable. There are big differences in the sense of happiness in nurturing among fathers' of different age groups.By thorough interviews with more than ten parents, and demonstration and deep exposition on the four parts of sense of happiness in nurturing, i.e. satisfying happiness, sense of parent-child identity, vitality and vigor, and self-growth, the theoretical framework of the questionnaire is more convincing, and the description, explanation and analysis of the happy experience in nurturing is more vivid and touching.In the end, the author of this thesis puts forward some suggestions about enhancing parents' sense of happiness in nurturing.
