Reading is a main way for man to gain knowledge. With the rapid speed of economic knowledge in the 21st century, reading is becoming more and more important. Moreover, it is much more essential than ever before for students to improve their speed of obtaining information and their abilities of reading comprehension.In the Educational Revolution II, the objectives of reading teaching in Chinese are to improve students' interests' in reading; to guide students to read more excellent articles outside class; to train students to learn how to compare, to analyze, to synthesize, to conclude, to doubt, and etc. Based on the ability of reading modern articles, students can improve their cultural accomplishment and souls.In order to practise the objectives stated above, this thesis tries to look for a teaching breakthrough and offer teaching examples with research by means of the theory of "Reading and Comprehension Methodology", starting with the author himself, the article itself and the readers themselves.The thesis is devided into six parts, that is, "The Birth of Applying 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' to the Reading Teaching Field"; '"Reading and Comprehension Methodology' and its Theory"; "The History of Reading Teaching"; "The Meaning of 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' in Reading Research"; "The Application of 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' in Chinese Teaching" and "The Effective Ways of Guidance"."The Birth of Applying 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' to the Reading Teaching Field": To put forward the importance of studying reading teaching in two aspects, that is, the demands of basic education in the times and the objectives of educational revolution in Chinese.'"Reading and Comprehension Methodology' and its Theory": To narrate in brief the detailed contents of the article and the center of readers."The History of Reading Teaching": To analyze the disadvantages of reading teaching in junior middle school from the theory of 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' itself."The Meaning of 'Reading and Comprehension Methodology' in Reading Research": To open reading in extra-text, to develop abilities and to show innovations."The Application of "Reading and Comprehension Methodology' in Chinese Teaching": To offer examples, analyze detailedly the author, the articles and the center of readers."The Effective Ways of Guidance": To guide students to learn the tactics of reading effectively by the teacher .
