Only if vocational college transfers its past purpose from solving employment problem to fostering enterprise talent, can it meet the challenge of the reality? But the connotation of enterprise is diverse to different academic schools. In this article, the essence of enterprise isblazing new trails which is a value system-unification of spiritual andmaterial values, fusion of educational and economic values. Enterprise which develops from bringing forth new ideas into gaining profits and creating new social values is a hazardous action of blazing new trails. Enterprise talent is the man who has basic enterprise qualities can create new vocational posts and vocational profits. Enterprise talent has been fostering since the concept of enterprise education was put forward at the international symposium Education Facing 21st Century at the end of November, 1989. Social circumstances, colleges of vocations and vocational students are the three advantages for vocational college to foster enterprise talents. Then, how to foster enterprise talents? Firstly, develop the individual subjectivity of students through contacts and dialogues. Enterprise is a kind of individual subjective action to student which is showed as having independent opinions of materials, of teachers, of classmates and of their contacts. The past vocational schools in our country which imitated the industrial production mode and made the students "standardized item" resulted in the omission of subjectivity, which could be found in the relationship between teachers and students, teaching materials and students' performances. A student can't develop his individual subjectivity and possess the enterprise quality unless constructs his internal development mechanism through his dialogues with texts and equal contacts with teachers. Secondly, develop creativethinking ability in the conformity of science and technology and arts. Enterprise needs not only abstraction, analytical thinking and polymerization thinking, but also thinking in images, intuitive thinking, divergent thinking and inspiration which belong to the irrational elements in human mind and need to be fostered through humanistic education. The humanization of products, the humanization of enterprise and the synthesis and moralization of enterprise demand the emphasis on humanistic education of enterprise talents. While in the past, there was a tendency of emphasizing science and technology, and despising arts in teaching. Essentially, science and technology should be with humanist spirit, and science and technology education is the unique cultural action of human being, and to foster creative thinking, the conforming of science and technology education and humanistic education must be realized. Finally, develop the practical ability of enterprise during practical teaching. Foster the outlook of comprehensive vocational abilities, develop the aim of employment into the guidance of enterprise, and put an end to the inhibition of initiative, activity and creativity caused by the ability outlook based on behaviorism. On one hand, foster the intelligence and skills of blazing new trails based on available practical teaching bases, on the other hand, oriented by commercialization, launch practical action of enterprise, including invented enterprise, enterprise with the help of incubator and independent enterprise.
