Based on the theory of achievement goal and self-efficacy of self-regulated learning, this study investgated evaluation style influenced on achievement goal, self-efficacy, anxiety and academic achievement. The study includes two experiments.With 335 Junior-Middle-School-student from Grade Two being subjects, experiment 1 studied different evaluation scene influenced on achievement goal, self-efficacy and anxiety. Evaluation scenes include absolute evaluation, relative evaluation and the absence of evaluationThe conclusion was as follows: Different kinds of evaluation scenes have significant influence on mastery goal, self-efficacy and anxiety. Absolute evaluation is superior to relative evaluation and the absence of evaluation on mastery goal, self-efficacy and anxiety. The absence of evaluation is superior to relative evaluation on self-efficacy.Experiment 2 provided absolute evaluation, relative evaluation and the absence of evaluation in two months. With 306 Junior-Middle-School-student from Grade Two being subjects, experiment 2 studied different evaluation influenced on achievement goal, self-efficacy, anxiety and academic achievement The conclusions were as follows:1. There is no remarkable difference between the absolute evaluation and relative evaluation on achievement goal, self-efficacy.2. There is higher academic achievement in the absolute evaluation and relative evaluation than in the absence of test..3. Boys are more anxious than girls hi the absolute evaluation and relative evaluation.
