U.s. Internet Education Research And Revelation

Web-based Education (WBE) is a new model of modern education during that education actively accords with and dynamically moves the process of information society. Based on the Information Technology, WBE is a modem education activity which trains the information literacy of modem human being and personality of world citizen by mass customized learning. WBE is a new trial and exploration for the American government and American people to establish the learning society which has been enhancing the quality of American education reform and the development of the country and providing a benefit example for other countries to follow. This thesis takes the theory of comparative education region research to make preliminary and systematic study into the concept of WBE, its present situation, conditions, reference sianificance of WBE. The preface analyses the inevitability of WBE in U.S.A. and points out the start of being digital in China and the problems of our education reform, then the purpose of this thesis. The body includes five parts: the first defines WBE and its characters. The second analyses the present situation of WBE in America. The third analyses the conditions that it comes into being and its development. The forth points out the positive effect that it brings about and the problems. The last gives some advise on establishing and pushing WBE of China referring to American experience and according to Chinese present condition.
