We also probe into it'sprospect in drug, study it's deley-senile, propecting the injured liver of mice, and the promoting action of TaiBai-Ginse to physical performance of mice.TaiBai-Ginse is a special medicinal plant in China. Occured in province of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia and so on.TaiBai-Gense is the roots of Pedicularis decora Franch, which is a perenial herbs, grows high about 50-120cm, erect stem, nonbranched. There is a thin, whip-like rhi-zoma with joint connected the rhizoma to the head of root with many fibrous root. Spike in-florecence, the flowers colour is yellow.The pharmacology experiments shows:1. TaiBai-Genses can inhibit the senile of mice induced by Alloxan. Its can inhibit obviously the abnormal rise of SOD, POD, CAT, MDA, Hb, AITs, ASTs induced by Alloxan.2. TaiBai-Genses can increase obviously the liver-glycogen and the muscle-glyco-gen of mice, release the injury of Hb induced by severe exercise, inhibit the abnor-mal rise of SOD, MDA induced by severe exercise. TaiBai-Genses also can pro-long the swimming time of mice, help the exhausted mice restore themsevles. Its can make the increased SOD, MDA, LDH return to normal.Our study proved that TaiBai-Genses exactly have the action of anti-free radical,anti-senile, promoting the physical performance of mice. This result can settle the founda-tion exploration and use of TaiBai-Gense.
