Interpersonal interaction has an important influence on the behavior of physical group, the harmonious interpersonal relationship has an effect on the enthusiasm of human emotional experience, and it will reflects the group behavior, group performance directly and even indeed, it will have an impact upon the group construction and the development direction of the group. By using the “sicial network analysis”, which is devoted to the study of the relationship of social variables,as a research tool, this study will start from the interaction relationship among the members in the College Basketball Association, by using the UCINET software to analyze the relationship data, this study will reveal the network structure of the University Basketball Association and also the characteristics of the group. Besides,by understanding the relationship, the characteristics, the position of the members and social cohesion and so on, which exist between the members in the network, this study will explore the relationship between interpersonal networks and the development of basketball associations, as well as the impact that the interpersonal networks have on the development of basketball associations. Research results showed that:1. The development of the University Basketball Club has a certain relevance with basic situation of the members. There are differences in characteristics of the interpersonal relationships between different social network structures. There is an obvious difference between the associations with professional students and those which do not have. The transactional distance and the overall cohesion is not so ideal or high between the members. However, the associations with professional students have higher cohesion of communities relatively.2. The diagram about the relationship between the members of University Basketball Club depicts the different relationships between the members clearly, which shows that the bilateral interaction between the members is less, however, the one-way interaction is in the majority. The correlation degree between the emotional network, information network and consultation network is not high. At the same time,it also reveals that the emotional network and the technology consulting network are evacuated. So in my study, i will show that by using the strategy which is strengthening the construction of the community consultation network can greatly help to promote development of the community.3. In the University basketball club network, the members with higher level of basketball skills, female members and leaders of the community stand at the center place; the core members in the community are more active, and they have higher status and higher control ability towards the information. The core members usually have greater implication to the interpersonal relationship of the other members and the development of the community; however, the members, who are at the edge of the network, always have less attention and enthusiasm to the community, what’s more, they are easier to separate themselves from the community.4. Through the analysis of the K-plexus faction of condensing subgroup, we find that the members pay too much attention to the interaction within the group, while they lack of the communication and exchange with all members in the community.Members who are part of the small community usually have the same major.Members who major in physical education showed great trend to form small community. The small community is more stable, and have higher cohesion, but it has an negative impact to the overall cohesion of the community. Students who major in the physical education show repulsion towards other students, which hinder the development of the community.5. The interpersonal relationship between the members who are in the University Basketball Association has a certain relevance with the development of the community. The strength of the relationship between members, the close degree of the interpersonal network and the cohesion of the community can influence the development of the basketball club directly.
