In the world of today, with influenced increasingly of the power of science and technology, the digital techniques, such as computer, multimedia, cloud computing,Internet of things and so on, every aspect of our lives has been covered with gradually and the whole human society has been stepped forward the information era of big data. ZB amounts of data, which is not only the fact that the huge amounts of data,but has been contained the vast potential of information resources in the whole world,and this is a time of opportunities for the research of geography teaching.In our daily geography teaching in school, the teacher has been using the material of data. General speaking, the data is coming from teachers, which has been based on themselves’ personal observation results in the geography teaching or assessment,such as the daily test of geography, the performance of the students to learn geography which is from their parents and so on. Big data should amplify these records as so many times. When it comes to big data, which contains the interactions between thousands of individuals, and consider these students’ formal and informal performance every day in their individual’s process during their geography teaching. s a real purpose of analysis and using big data, which should make good geography teachers better, improve the teaching quality of geography and millions of students’ learning results and opportunity at the same time.In the background, Big Data ge, this paper focused on the part of optimization of the geography teaching. nd it is well known that the advent the era of big data deeply affects all aspects of the geography teaching. fter reading of g and analyzing a large number of literature. This paper show us the most direct and profound influence on geography teaching is in the three aspects under the big data era. Firstly,the analysis the data of students’ learning situation about geography course, which is based on the classes’ communication platform; Secondly, the era of big data for geography teaching methods’ application; Thirdly, the huge amounts of data resources, which is under of dig data era, provides some practical reference in the geography’s curriculum resource.This paper mainly expounds the following six parts:The first part is mainly about the reason to choose the theme of this paper, its background and significance, a summary of its correlative literature, the innovation and limitation of this research, analyzing its method and technical route;The second part mainly defines the core concepts, such as data, the era of big data,geography teaching under big data era, and analyzes systematically the characteristics of the geography teaching in the era of big data at the same time;The third part mainly discusses the students’ learning situation of geography course,which is based on the data of ten classes’ group chat on holiday in school term with online communication platform;The fourth part mainly using some technology of the era of big data, which can be used for observation and record students’ emotional change and their level of fatigue in their classroom during geography course, and introduce “Map of Intelligence” and“Solar Walk”, which is a software about data analysis and assume. Put forward the new idea in this paper to expound the new ways of geographical teaching;The fifth part mainly discusses the structure of geography curriculum resource in the era of big data;The sixth in this article is conclusion part, which expounds the results of the study,analysis the deficiency during the process of research, and puts forward a prospect about the future geography teaching.
