Primary school music course is the compulsory subject and an organic part of foundation education, music education as the important means has great functions to implement aesthetic education, cultivation of students aesthetic feeling, sentiment, character and so on. Along with gradually advancement of the country elementary education reform, our country music education career has made great progress in urban areas,especially the developed regions. However, compared with the urban areas, rural music education is still not optimistic, and has a certain gap with the requirements of quality education. The rural school music lessons can be evaded, music education effect is not good, the gap is bigger between students who are in urban and rural.How can we solve the rural music education problem effectively? Changing ideas, increasing investment not happen overnight, the introduction of teachers, teacher training methods are time-consuming, traditional methods cannot effectively solve the problem in a short time. And information technology and curriculum integration, based on the resources of learning provides a new thought to solve this problem. Tablets, smart phones, the emergence of the mobile intelligent promoted the rapid development of mobile Internet, made it possible to individualized learning, the high quality resources sharing. Tablet teaching resources have advantages such as: providing multichannel stimulus with combination of graphic audio-visual and the joyful interaction experience, stimulate students’ inner interest, reduce the dependence on teachers.This article selects 42 students who are in grade four, P primary school of Pingzhai, Xichou county, Wenshan zhuang and miao minority autonomous prefecture of yunnan province, as experimental object to study the tablet teaching resources design and application for rural music education. Through literature,on-the-spot investigation into the rural music education status quo, in-depth analysis of yunnan province rural music digital education resource requirements, and on the basis of it, making a reference of the design theory of the tablet teaching resources at home and abroad, and elementary school music teaching theory and method, and the standards for the design in the field of digital learning resources at home and abroad, using based on the design research, narrative research and empirical research method to put forward design patterns based on the characteristics of music subject, tablets features, local culture and rural music teacher, from the resource performance content(the teaching process, teaching activities, evaluation and feedback), and resources forms(interface, interaction and emotion) as the detailed design principles, then taking the second class of “the beauty of hometown” as an example of resource design case and application, and through classroom observation, interview with teachers and students, students’ music knowledge to test resources application effect, to verify the availability and feasibility of research results in this paper, finally, making a summary of the research results and analyzing the shortcomings of the study and looking forward to the future study.
