In recent years, Online courses has been developing rapidly in the world.A lot of foreign famous universities,for example: Harvard,Stanford University and so on,have developed online courses on the online platform.Students from all over the world can learn from these high quality resources, broke the boundedness of a high quality learning resources.The Open University’s main study way is face-to-face and online learning, Online teaching is theimportant characteristic. Students are learning through the Internet to complete the course of study.Online teaching includes the construction of online teaching resources and online teaching activities,teachers can publish and manage the curriculum resources in the networkplatform,conduct active learning support and services.So,effective online curriculum design specification is the prerequisite for the development of a network course.‘Shanghai Open Distance Education Engineering Technology Research Center’ is carrying out a research into online learning design,and organize the East China Normal University- Shanghai Open University postdoctoral research stations to carry out ‘Online Course Design and Learning at the Open Learning support research’,Research by integrating a variety of online learning resources and media tools to build learner-centered, goaloriented learning, learning tasks(activities) driven flexible online learning curriculum design model and form design guidelines. According to the ‘online course construction standard’ of Shanghai Open University, this paper designs the online course of ‘Introduction to Service Learning’of software engineering, which is based on the online course design model provided by engineering center.Whether the online curriculum design model, which is put into use by Open University, can effectively promote the students’ learning to carry out relevant teaching verification.The data collected through questionnaires, teachers and students put forward some opinions and Suggestions, provide reference for other courses after on-line.But this study also has its shortcomings,this study only designed a course in Shanghai Open University, the validation of the model has some limitations.
