Case study teaching is a method which meets the demand of newest curriculum standards and the needs of education reform. This is an effective teaching method or strategy. Students can study in a relaxed atmosphere.Teachers and students in the classroom can complete the task of teaching high efficiently. The out-class time of students can be leaved to students, so students can fully develop their own strengths and preferences.In this study, we take a high school in Zhenjiang City as an example. With the guidance of educational theory, the whole construction of a harmonious teaching ideas and teaching constructivism, the "recent developments" theory, the humanistic learning theory, the learning theory, the peer coaching systems theory,and the teachers and teaching activities of various elements based on certain teaching objectives, the teaching content and students’ cognitive characteristics,the stable and simple structure of teaching is formed.We used the test, questionnaire, interview, mathematical statistics and other research methods to explore how science teaching model can be applied to the case of high school biology teaching. We proposed that high school students should “learn how to study ", and have the ability of Autonomous Learning.Teachers compose learning plan and build a " Learning Project, independent inquiry " teaching mode. Starting from the study of classroom teaching mode,activate the classroom and build efficient classroom. We selected some students Grade I and II in one high school as experimental objects to do the biological cycle of new teaching content teaching experimental comparison group, in order to study the effectiveness of the method in biology teaching in high school in the case study. After the experiment, we analyzed the empirical data on student questionnaires, interviews and the resulting achievements during the experiment in teaching and do other statistical analysis, That the " learning plan teaching method can cultivate students’ active participation in the spirit, is conducive to enhance the learning scores and learning ability, comprehensive combined with personality development, promote to improve the relationship between teachers and students, for the conclusion of the high school biology teaching. Case StudyApproach is consistent with the spirit, the goals and the tasks of the new curriculum. It can correct teachers’ and students’ attitudes towards biological sciences, focus on cultivating students’ independent learning, effective teaching,and promote the improvement of teaching standards.
