Mathematics originates from life, but when many problems in our life are mathematized,they are divorced from of their own geometric background, so the problems become abstract,complicated, and not easy for students to understand. In view of this, in 2011, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011 Edition) "(hereinafter referred to as "standard"), which put forward the "geometric intuition" as one of the ten core concepts of the compulsory education mathematics curriculum.In addition, with the rapid development of Internet and information technology, the informationization teaching resources in classroom teaching, such as multimedia courseware and micro video, are becoming more and more popular. Many primary mathematics teachers also gradually realize that the use of the informationization teaching resources in geometrical teaching, not only can make the complex and abstract mathematical problems visual and concise,easy to understand for students, but also can fully mobilize the classroom atmosphere, stimulate students’ interest in learning.Although there are a large number of mathematics teaching resources on the Internet, the resources that can be really used in the primary mathematics geometrical teaching are few and far between. And Flash software, due to its advantages,such as good interactivity, integration,and easy using, has become the ideal choice for developers to develop multimedia courseware.Therefore, the author chooses the design and development of the primary mathematics Flash courseware to research, which is oriented to geometric intuition, hopes it can be used for the primary mathematics geometrical teaching, and can help students better understand and grasp the teaching contents.Firstly, the study introduces the subject’s backgrounds.Because there are some problems existing in the primary mathematics geometrical teaching, and Flash courseware is gradually introduced to the classroom teaching, it can solve the problems to some extent. Therefore the design and development of the primary mathematics Flash courseware is put forward, which is oriented to geometric intuition. Secondly, this study expounds the research’s status at home and abroad of geometric intuition and Flash courseware in detail, and explains some related concepts in this study, such as geometry intuition, Flash courseware. Then under the guidance of some theories including Constructivism Learning Theory, Dell’s "Cone of experience", Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, Piaget’s Theory Of Children’s Cognitive Development, this study puts forward the design principles of the primary mathematics Flash courseware’s design and development, which is oriented to geometric intuition.Thirdly, according to the theories anddesign principles that are previously proposed, this study conducts the preliminary demand analysis and design of the Flash courseware, and uses the Flash software for concrete technical implementation, and points out the difficulties in the process of design and development. Finally,taking the three units, "grade division", "circle", "cylindrical and conical" for examples, this study makes the teaching design for the Flash courseware’s application in geometrical teaching,and analyses the embodiment of the geometric intuituion in the Flash courseware and the important roles which the Flash courseware plays in the geometrical teaching.
