Students in the classroom behavior closely linked with the teacher’s teaching. Classroom silence as a special phenomenon of teaching in the process of the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom, in relation to the teacher to achieve the goals of teaching and students’ development. Teacher silence before the questions and guide, after the silence in silence to a great extent, affects the process and result. Classroom silence phenomenon in the teacher’s behavior intention and attitude of the students’ emotion, relationship between nature and the concrete manifestation of silence. According to the education theory of constructivism, learning is a construction including content and form of the structure of the related process. Classroom silence is premise of classroom discourse transformation between subject and nature is a kind of communicative behavior. Type determines its characteristics and functions of classroom silence, affects the behavior of the teachers and students in the classroom performance, relationship to the teachers and students in the classroom interaction and the development of the relationship between teachers and students.Based on the teacher and students behaviors in the classroom silence as the breakthrough point of the research, explore the function of its behavior, and the influence factors of behind. Study adopted qualitative research methods, through interviews, classroom observation and teachers and pupils studied silence in the classroom. This study selected the junior middle school as the research object, because the students of junior middle school stage than elementary and high school students in the classroom silence is more typical. Middle school students in thinking began to highlight the personalized features, in the words of logical thinking ability is the elementary school has large improvement, students way of thinking and behavior presents the trend of diversification. This research through the observation of the phenomenon of classroom silence in junior high school students with the record, trying to reveal hidden behind the silence of the relationship between thinking and words.This Paper includes five parts: the first part is introduction, including research background, research contents, research significance, the existing research results of the analysis of the summary, core concepts, as well as the purpose of the research, methods and procedures, etc. The second part mainly discusses the characteristics of the phenomenon of classroom silence, classification and function. The third part from the aspects such as teachers, students and classroom atmosphere to analyze the cause of the phenomenon of classroom silence. The fourth part discussed the teacher in the face of the phenomenon of classroom silence when coping strategies and their influence. The fifth part, according to different types of classroom silence targeted guidance.
