An Investigation On The Present Situation Of Chorus Teaching In Primary Schools

Chorus(Chorus) is an elegant art, as a kind of popular, everyone can participate in the art form, it marks a country’s music popularity and development level. Chorus on the improvement of the aesthetic experience of primary school students, the cultivation of innovative ability, collective consciousness and the cultivation of unity and cooperation ability, are playing a very important role. In the 2011 edition of music curriculum standard, chorus teaching has become a very important teaching content and teaching means. At present, the chorus teaching in primary school in our country widely spread, many music teachers are actively carried out chorus teaching practice, but the lack of systematic research, have not formed effective chorus teaching strategy.In order to better investigate the implementation of chorus teaching in primary school music classroom, this paper first analyzes the current music teaching materials, and makes a simple analysis of the chorus songs in the primary school music teaching materials. But due to the different circumstances of each region, primary school music teachers’ chorus teaching level not neat, is also not the same, this paper selects the 3 primary school, Puyang City, Henan Province, carries on the investigation and study to the 18 in the three primary school music teacher, at the same time of Puyang city is a municipal music tune research staff interviews, a full range of understanding of the primary school chorus teaching by questionnaire survey and interviews with a combination of research methods. On the basis of in-depth 3 elementary schools, on current situation of chorus teaching in the music classroom and extracurricular choral activities carried on a series of investigations, which found that elementary school chorus teaching exists some problems can not be ignored. Firstly, there are some shortcomings in the curriculum of higher normal colleges; secondly, the teaching level of chorus is limited; at last, the school is not paid enough attention to the chorus. This paper on these issues analysis, and then put forward some of their own strategies and suggestions: first, the colleges and universities construction to adapt to the basic education of chorus teaching content system; second, improve elementary school music teacher’s teaching ability in chorus; third, school choir to teach science to the organic combination of in class and out of class. It is hoped that these suggestions can provide some help for the better development of chorus teaching in primary school.
