World heritage is rich in value and of great importance in heritage protection, regardless of cultural continuity and maintaining ecological balance, or in terms of economic development, social progress, etc.High school geography has a good educational foundation on heritage protection because of its unique subject property and content features.The structure of thesis build on broadly reading about geographical education,World heritage protection, environmental ethics theory. Multicultural education theory provides theoretical support for combination of heritage-protection education and middle school geography curriculum, and environment ethics, constructivist theory and the "people-centered" education theory provide theoretical support and guidance for design and implementation of heritage protection case teaching. While after the curriculum reform, the geography course positioning, content, educational objectives and the new trend of classroom teaching, case teaching with a diverse characteristics, they all provide the feasibility of the combination of both.On this basis, this thesis take Honghe Hani Rice Terraces as an example, use a combination of reseach means,include questionnaire survey, on-site interview, data statistics analysis. Firstly, based on the content structure of middle geography course and the geographic space-time concept, present the content of heritage case teaching, which regard as the cognitive component of environment ethics, into four parts: a survey of the world cultural landscape heritage, natural features, human feature and environmental ethics reflected by landscape element. This four-part as the cognitive component of environment ethics, is an important foundation for ethics training in heritage environment. Meanwhile, we have taken a questionnaire survey on the present situation of the heritage education at the Yuanyang county, which the core area of Hani Rice Terraces. We finded that the heritage education is monotonous and less effective as well as students’ heritage protection awareness. Accordingly build a tri-dimensional goals for heritage case teaching and make four teaching strategies of heritage case teaching’s design and implementation, including lively-hood experience, current knowledge system of stuents, education of environmental ethics, adequate teaching schdule.Finally, take empirical study of middle school students’ ability in moral heritage environment questionnaire, use a combination of four teaching strategies in four aspects: discussing the dilemma, role-playing, legacy case teaching way back to students’ life experience, and focusing on existing knowledge and the level of thinking of students, so as to build the design of special legacy case teaching.Middle School Geography course combining with the heritage case teaching, which promotes the realization of heritage protection as well as students’ knowledge of geography and the geography curriculum content,they also be helpful to achieve the goal of teaching geography. For the more and effective ways between the strategies of legacy case teaching and heritage protection as well as high school geography curriculum, scholars in the field of geography education and heritage protection need to explore together in the future.
