With the accelerated pace of economic development, people’s living standards have improved significantly, and constantly enrich and growth of material also requires synchronization and hand to build on the spirit. Specific to the primary school, according to the "moral and social" curriculum standards, as well as the current status of the missing students civic literacy, therefore, the primary school "moral and social" Distribution of civics textbook is necessary.Through the three versions of "moral and social" textbook civic knowledge comparative analysis, the primary textbook of moral status of distribution and characteristics of civic knowledge, and provide a theoretical basis for civic education in elementary organic penetration of moral textbook for the future civic knowledge presented in textbooks written to provide a theoretical basis.Based on the extensive literature of reference proposed four dimensions of textbook analysis:the areas covered, language presentation, image rendering, and activity design. Through PEP, Beijing Normal University, three versions of Jiangsu "moral and social" textbook civic knowledge of analysis, the proportion of the distribution and characteristics:1. civic knowledge areas covered in the textbooks, including political field, the legal field, the field of ethics as well as citizens of the world in the field of four parts. Civics textbook accounts for about 30% of the knowledge.2. In terms of language presented to express the position of the main outstanding children, expressed in the main body of the text is designed to meet children’s psychology, full of vigor and vitality; use of children living on the express language content, the material is also a means of personal experience for children examples; statements by relying on the way include the integrated use of rhetorical devices and genres in many ways; but the language also presented some problems, including the informative text adult tendency to design some of the problems of limiting the students’ thinking space.3. In terms of image rendering, image source textbooks are original photos and cartoons are used interchangeably; textbook picture of people choose more focused on children, but the proportion of men and women assigned on the picture did not do balance to the male protagonist’s image the majority; the picture dominated the scene with school life. The activities of design, design activities textbooks rich and varied forms, but less overall number; some activities incompatible with the nature of the activities of design, design of individual activities there are some difficulties.In response to these problems, this paper prospects of civic knowledge education textbooks are:1. The socialist core values into primary school moral education textbooks.2. Quasi civic education and moral education textbooks meeting point. Moral textbooks need to be carefully combed, identify the moral education textbook content and meeting point of civic education content and system integration, so that civic education organically into moral education textbooks.3. civics education must be based on the student’s position.
