Sentence comprehension is the areas of pedagogy, psychology, cognitive science, linguistics. Syntactic ambiguity is a kind of important language phenomenon, researchers often explore the relationship between semantics and syntax by syntactic ambiguity sentences, and formed different sentence processing model. But different model don’t get agreement on how relationship is between semantics and syntax., as well as how to play in sentence processing. Along with the research developing, more and more experimental evidence shows that the semantic processing has immediate impact in sentence processing under certain conditions,, and can influence the syntax. Sentence processing mechanism research is mostly based on normal, less involved in special groups. With the development of special education and society, reading comprehension study of the deaf students can not be ignored. The study of sentence processing mechanism of deaf students has important theoretical and practical significance. Based on the current research on syntactic ambiguity sentences temporarily theory, this paper uses the moving window experiments and fast reading experiments, and experimental materials that can be understood by deaf students, to discusses the semantic effect on deaf students temporarily syntactic ambiguity words of understanding, and analysis of deaf students’ sentence processing mechanism. The study points three experiments, specific as follows:Experiment 1:we used moving window experiment, and takes rationality as an operational definition of semantic. Let participants complete the sentence semantic judgment task according to the understanding of a sentence, recording the time and correct judgment tasks. This experiment explores influence that the semantic rationality has in temporarily syntactic ambiguous sentences.Experiment 2:Experiment use the moving windows experiment, and control nouns after verbs, record the reaction time in V1, N1, V2, N2, to analysis the effect of semantic relevance to temporarily syntactic ambiguity.Experiment 3:Experiment use fast reading method to inspect the result of experiment 2. Under the condition of fast reading, let the deaf students complete semantic judgment tasks, recording reaction time and accuracy. This paper gets conclusions of this study as follows:1. The rationality of semantic with syntactic ambiguity is influenced each other, and has immediate influence on syntactic analysis in the temporarily syntactic ambiguity sentences. In reasonable and ambiguity resolution area, reading time of semantic temporarily syntactic ambiguity sentence is longer than that of semantic unreasonable syntactic ambiguity sentences.2. The semantic relevance can influence syntax analysis timely, and guide choice of the syntactic ambiguity. In high related condition, reading time of temporarily syntactic ambiguity sentences is significantly longer than that of ambiguous sentences, under the condition of low related condition, there was no significant difference between reading time.3. The semantic has immediate influence on the syntactic function, support the weak interaction model experiment. The understanding mechanism of deaf students in temporary syntactic ambiguity sentences is different from that of normal hearing students, semantic plays a bigger role in sentence comprehension with deaf student. So it needs to pay attention to the semantics of syntactic information such as training, to help the deaf students better master Chinese.
