Investigation And Research On Mathematical Deduction Ability And Induction Ability Of Junior Middle School Students

This study investigate the level of junior high school students in mathematical deduction and induction ability, with the self-made questionnaire, we make a survey of junior high school students and study the law of development of students deduction and induction ability and characteristics, and put forward relevant proposals.In this study, we sort out from the relevant research of deduction and induction, analyze the theoretical basis of this study, and prepare the questionnaire as a basis for design spatial deduction and induction ability of middle school students to study the test volume.Secondly, we select more than 100 students in seventh grade to eighth grade of a school as sample. By SPSS software for statistical analysis of test results, we obtaine the development of deduction and induction ability junior high school students law.First is the development of deduction ability with significant age difference; the deduction ability of students in eighth grade is higher than that students in seventh grade.Second is the development of induction ability with significant age difference; the induction ability of students in eighth grade is higher than that students in seventh grade.There is no striking differences in the deduction and induction ability between boy students and girl students.The deduction and induction ability of students who do well in mathematics study is higher than that students do weak in mathematics study.In this study, there is some issues involved in further research and study space, while a further extension of this research and development would be very meaningful. We hope this study will need for the teaching of reasoning.
