Cooperative learning as a new way of learning advocated by the new curriculum reform, has developed more than 20 years in China. But the studies which involve concrete grouping method and cooperative group initiative are less. Cooperative learning is a long process, and the foundation is personnel assignment. Students’ initiative is very strong, so in addition to class cooperation, cooperative learning outside the classroom also has great development potential. Considering these two aspects, this paper proposes "Enneagram" as packet tools to know and divide the character of the students, and to construct cooperative learning group based on complementary personalities, so as to make students learn actively in extracurricular activity. This is the first time that "Enneagram personality" as packet tool be introduced into the physical in cooperative learning, so the research based on the tentative scheme does specific implementation according to the actual situation, to hope that this preliminary inquiry achieves good effect for the follow-up study.The main body of the paper is composed of introduction, the concepts and theoretical basis, a preliminary study on the cooperative learning based on the "Enneagram" grouping in high school physics, reflection and prospect.This paper firstly simply introduces the research of cooperative learning and the Enneagram in home and abroad, and presents the related concepts and theoretical basis. Then, on the basis of physical cooperative learning of the experimental class, this paper undertakes an experiment according to the tentative scheme of character grouping combined with the specific circumstances of the experimental class. Finally, this paper uses questionnaire to understand the construction of cooperative group, and also puts forward the reflection and prospect.This experiment show that students have their own views in cooperative learning. Students’achievement has certain improvement after the experiment, and students’ cooperation consciousness is very strong. This character grouping is recognized and will be continued.
