| In this day and age, the theory of cooperative learning sounds no unfamiliar to us. It was originally emerged in the United States like a revolution and gradually spread to all over the world from the United States. It has developed further after introducing to our country since the late 1990 s and especially gets more and more attention from the public after the new round of curriculum reform. The state strongly advocates the students’ self-independency, cooperation and exploration spirit in study, which has been widely used in different disciplines. The comprehensiveness, practicality and openness of curriculum of morality and society in primary school make it inevitable.Based on various research methods, this thesis gives a close observation and analysis about the actual status of cooperative learning in morality and society. By attending 34 classes in S and Y elementary school in Changsha and checking twelve teaching videos in education science press, I found that this cooperative learning has made achievements: widespread application, establishment of "six steps" teaching mode in Y primary school. However, there are still some problems existing in this learning style: great formality, solidification of the task among team members, lack of scientific planning and low participation among students.Combining these theories related to cooperative learning and analyzing these problems, I found several reasons both from teachers and students: for one hand, some teachers lack of understanding to cooperative learning, inappropriate selections to the cooperative learning content, inaccurate understanding of cooperative learning pattern, for another, students lack of cooperation learning experience. After the case study and analysis, some suggestions are put forward to improve morality and society class: the school create suitable cooperative learning atmosphere; pay attention to teachers’ training; strengthen the application of cooperative learning skills; enhance the training for students’ cooperative learning. |
