The problem is the starting point of thinking. "Problem consciousness" is the starting point of creativity and the key to innovation ability. Carrying out quality education and cultivating innovation talents is an important issue for every educator. Chinese, as one of the significant courses in basic education, is also included. At present, lack of "problem consciousness" is common among most students, especially senior high school students, probably due to their specific psychological and physiological causes. It’s meaningless for us to focus on innovation education without strengthening students’problem awareness in teaching. Teachers should focus on stimulating students’active thinking, cultivating their courage of raising questions and introducing the best ways to raise questions. Only in this way can students’ "problem consciousness" be strengthened. This paper consists of five parts:1. The definition of the problem and "problem consciousness", the theoretical foundation of the topic and the current study situation at home and abroad; 2. Expounding the current situation of high school students’"problem consciousness" in Chinese learning and analyzing its causes through questionnaires and interviews; 3. Analyzing the necessity and feasibility of strengthening senior high school students’ problem awareness in Chinese teaching; 4. Attempting to put forward the strategies of strengthening students’"problem consciousness" in senior Chinese teaching, the common methods of questioning and solving problems and the way to evaluate whether students’problem awareness has been strengthened; 5. Providing several examples of teaching practice to show how to strengthen students’"problem consciousness" in class. From the perspective of teaching practice and the theoretical foundation, the writer aims to strengthen the students’ problem awareness in senior Chinese teaching and improve students’ability in Chinese learning by making a survey and analysis of teachers’ and students’"problem consciousness" through questionnaires, discussion and interviews.
