Currently, to cultivate the social outstanding talent, around the world, all of countries are exploring the new education system in a hurry. People gradually pay attention to sports positive significance in cultivating high comprehensive quality、strongly business ability、"mastering many skills while specializing in one" inter-disciplinary talent. Along with the education strongly advocated about exam-oriented education to quality education thought. People gradually in-depth reflection to the colleges and universities sports teaching, found the teaching aim of traditional sports teaching mode does not adapt to given the goals and requirements to colleges and universities sports teaching, in the 21st century. As a result, it is immediately to build a new teaching mode.The investigative teaching is based on "people-oriented" and "problem center" education thought, in the process of teaching, fully embodies the students’ ability to self shape and the cultivation of innovation ability, change college education personnel training mode of immobilized. Although, The investigative teaching ideas into our country’s time is not long, however, the study of the theory of the investigative teaching has been relatively mature, theoretical achievements of investigative teaching is widely used to establish various disciplines, but using inquiry teaching in physical education curriculum in colleges and universities is rarely, especially teaching less in ball games. Introduce the investigative teaching in college badminton teaching conform to the trend of teaching reform. In this paper, the characteristics of the investigative teaching combined with badminton elective class teaching, by the method of documentation, questionnaire survey method, mathematical analysis, logic analysis method, experiment teaching method, video analytic method research, on the theoretical basis, concept, characteristics of research-based teaching, teaching methods, teaching mode, teaching evaluation, implementation strategy and so on has carried on the comprehensive and systematic discussion, the investigative teaching theory achievement to study abroad, first theoretically demonstrates the research-oriented teaching in the professional sports badminton elective course teaching in the feasibility of the use, the second through the teaching experiment:firstly, the research-oriented teaching for students in physical quality and technical master has no positive significance, but in stability of technical mastery is better than the control group; secondly, investigative teaching to the student ability to promote the technical diagnosis was better than control group, on instructions from one side to the ability of students to find and solve problems with help; thirdly, although the research results show that the experimental result was better than control group, but the analysis thinks, investigative teaching to the student effect is not obvious in the badminton master degree; fourthly, investigative teaching helps to cultivate the students’ interest in badminton learning, autonomous learning ability, teaching ability and scientific research ability has positive significance to improve and stabilize the relationship between teachers and students.According to the experimental process, and the conclusion, put forward the corresponding proposal, In the teaching process should pay attention to combining the traditional teaching methods and research-oriented teaching to avoid in the research-oriented teaching centering on the problem is not conducive to students learning about knowledge system,Secondly, research-based teaching is still in the exploratory stage, teachers’ lack of experience in teaching, therefore, to do well the teaching design, grasp the teaching process; Finally, teachers should actively guide, in the process of inquiry teaching on students’ enthusiasm, make full use of school resources.
