How To Penetrate The Awareness Of Environmental Protection Into High School Biology Teaching

With the development of Human society, human’s capacity of modifying nature has reached an unprecedented height, and created the most brilliant material civilization and spiritual civilization. However, while we are narcissistic and triumphant, we still realize that the earth we live is going away from us. Instead, human is suffering the revenge from nature because of human’s unrestrained extortion. The situation is worsening, but people are helpless, some even hasn’t realized the severity of the situation.In order to let more young people be conscious of that, the high school biology teachers not only have a responsibility but also have the duty to undertake the important task of cultivating high school students’ consciousness environmental protection. The author in this article introduces the concept of environmental protection consciousness, development history as well as the purpose and significance of the research. Why high school students are suitable for environmental protection consciousness education is also introduced in detail. One of the reasons is that high school students who own specific growth period is suitable for this kind of education while the high school biology teaching material for the education provides a good platform and field. Another reason is that after analyzing the course characteristic, the course goal, the course content and the curriculum, it is the necessary and feasible to cultivate the implementation of environmental protection consciousness in high school biology teaching. In order to carry out the implementation of the education in penetrating students’ consciousness environmental protection infiltration better in high school biology class, the author made a research on the present development at home and abroad in detail. Finally the author introduces how to carry out the education in penetrating students’ consciousness environmental protection in her own school, from how to penetrate during the class to how to do beyond class. In order to verify the effectiveness of using the method, questionnaire survey was conducted before and after the operation, and conclusions are drawn from the data changes.
