Humanism is a kind of philosophy theory and world outlook, which is based on rational and humane. In literary creation, humanistic feelings reflect the outlook on life, world outlook and values. Poetry creation is an important component part of literature and Poetry has its unique style and features. We are impressed by poetry which has characteristics of concise language, implicit, catchy phrases and its unique beauty awakens the soul of the people. Poetry teaching in high school, students don’t understand poet because of unsuitable teaching mode, teacher’s low quality and the low quality of students. In the first chapter, we found the disadvantage of poetry teaching through analyzing the current situation. The shortcoming is that we only know to recite mechanically but ignored Humanism Thought before on our poetry teaching. So, this Leads to students not interested in learning poetry and affects the students’ language achievements. In fact, Poetry itself has humanistic feelings, which was explained very good in “Wen Fu” by LuJi. Humanism education is an eternal theme in the process of Chinese teaching and learning no matter how times change. Therefore, students are cultivated at emotion, truth and beauty in the poetry teaching. First, the "feeling" refers to the emotion from poetry. When we learn the poetry, we must grasp the emotional firstly. In order to make students understand the “feeling” very well, we introduce six types of poetic emotion in detail, such as patriotism, love, friendship, affection, care and pastoral sentiment. The poets convey their thought by specific description in poetry. The emotion and thinking is what we call the ideological content. We must understand the author’s feelings in the poem on reading poetry, which is the basis of resonating with the author. Poetry not only can reflect emotion, but also contains abundant philosophic thoughts. Second, the "truth" about poem refers to a rational thinking and torture of soul which reveals philosophical thinking from many realistic problems in the world and teaches students principle to be a useful man. Third, the “beauty” of poetry is a kind of aesthetic art which is reflected from the form, language, rhythm and artistic conception of poetry, etc. Student will fall and love poetry mainly because of poetic beauty. In the teaching poetry, teachers should cultivate the students how to feel the “beauty” of poetry. In this paper, the significance of humanistic feelings is discussed and the methods of teaching poetry are found by analysis of humanistic feelings. Students are cultivated through improving humane accomplishment, changing the traditional teaching mode and attaching importance to cultural edification of poetry.
