| Since mid-twentieth century, some modernist school composers were not satisfiedwith the common used staff, so they created some new musical notations on their own.Some of them use graphs, symbols or words as musical notations, such as ConcreteMusic, Aleatoric Music and Electronic Music. As a new kind of musical notation,musical graph gets well-developed and innovated as time goes on. The use of themusical graph in the musical activities of the kindergarten today derives and evolvesfrom this neoteric musical notation. Therefore, the author makes some research,observations and interviews based on the use of the musical graph in the musicalactivities of the kindergarten. Besides all the research methods above, the author alsoanalyzes some specific cases in order to explore the value of the musical graph. Forinstance, how does this neoteric musical notation improve the musical experience ofchildren? How does the musical graph cultivate the creativity of the children?Furthermore, the author discovers the problems such as the blindly use of the musicalgraph, using low-quality musical graph, weakening the effect of the musical graphand lack of reflection. Eventually, the author gives the corresponding solutions to theproblems mentioned above.In the introduction, this paper demonstrates the purpose, significance and maincontent of the research. The author looks into other relevant research, then sets thenew ideas and chooses the proper research methods.The first chapter is the general description of the musical graph. According to thedefinition, features and varieties of the musical graph, the author explains thetheoretical evidence of using the musical graph on the following aspects: thepsychology of art, cognitive-development of children and scaffolding instruction.Meanwhile, after deeply exploring the value of using the musical graph, the authorcomes up with the basic characters of the musical graph in the advanced kindergarten.In the second chapter, the author honestly records the current situation of usingthe musical graph in the musical activities of the kindergarten by observing teachingscenes, watching teaching videos and interviewing teachers. The author also states the actuality of using the musical graph by the amounts, range, design and teaching reality.Later on, based on the problems mentioned at the end of paragraph one, the authoranalyzes the corresponding attribution according to the disadvantage of variousculture, the lack of teaching experience and diathesis among the teachers in thekindergarten.In the third chapter, after the systematic cognition of the musical graph, theauthor presents the specific solutions according to the problems appearing in the useof musical graph. The solutions include the preview and proper design before using,the appropriate guide while using, and the reflection after using the musical graph;which promotes the improvement of the musicianship and the development of thecreativity of the children. |
