From ancient to modern times, the Educational Effect and the aesthetic function of poetry has been widely recognized. Modern and contemporary poetry is an indispensable part of poetry teaching in high school. However, the research of modern and contemporary poetry has been in a neglected status and lack of researcher’s attention because of the characteristics of modern and contemporary poetry itself, the requirements of college entrance examination, the editorial characteristics of curriculum material and so on. Therefore, this paper are mainly divided into three levels to explore the modern and contemporary poetry teaching systematically as follows:Firstly, the present situation of modern and contemporary poetry teaching in high school was investigated. Secondly, the theoretical analysis of value and background of the modern and contemporary poetry teaching and paraphrasing the amount, distribution, and contents of teaching materials. Thirdly, some strategies of modern and contemporary poetry teaching were proposed by combining its practice with various cases and explored mainly based on the aspect of teachers’ individual and campus activities.This article takes modern and contemporary poetry in compulsory Chinese textbook published by Jiangsu education publisher as the object of study. It provided some teaching advice of modern and contemporary poetry for practical teacher by reference to the existing research results on Chinese teaching material and teaching strategy, based on the investigation data analysis of the teaching situation of modern and contemporary poetry in compulsory Chinese textbook published by Jiangsu education publisher for high schools, considering the integration of Curriculum standard, Examination Description and Editorial Intention of textbook, and enumerating typical cases in modern and contemporary poetry teaching. At the same time, I also explored to promote the campus culture and improve students’ Chinese quality from the specific combining of the guidance for student organizations and school-based teaching material of experience. Elegant teaching languages, deep knowledge for poetry theory and superior wisdom art of teaching can make the most of adolescent students devote the modern and contemporary poetry and prefer to the extensive and profound Chinese language and culture. Similarly, it will also improve the performance of teachers’ own while creating their own style of poetry teaching. High School Activities can construct the learning atmosphere of modern and contemporary poetry for the students, stimulate students’ interest to learn modern and contemporary poetry systematically, integrate theory with practice and have their own poems.This paper contains both the theoretical analysis and the teaching practice of real cases. It is hopeful that this paper can cause the high school Chinese teacher to pay attention to the Poetry teaching strategies and change the old methods and to promote the reforming of Poem teaching so as to let high students have a poetic life even if under the college entrance examination pressure. |
