The study took two transferred students from a kindergarten’s high class as a case presents two cases how to adapt strange environment. This study used qualitative research methods, collecting data through field observation and recording, presents and combs the eve, early admission, admission until the final process of adapting to the new kindergarten of the two cases in detail, and divides two cases to adapt to a strange environment’s stage. The adaptation process of male case has four stages, exciting stage, shock stage, adjustment stage, control stage, the stage of adaptation similar to a U type; the adaptation process of female case has three stages, shock stage, adjustment stage, control stage, the stage of adaptation similar to a J type.Through the two cases presented to adapt to a strange environment, and phasing of the process, this paper is mainly to investigate the mechanisms of two cases how to adapt to a strange environment, during exploring the mechanisms, we adopted children’s community construction theory, self-organization theory, assimilation theory of adaptation and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. Finally, in the garden’s atmosphere and cooperation between garden and home points out which factors influence children adapt to strange environment, and put forward to promote the children adapt to the strange environment’s strategy.
