Since implemented in 2006, the plan of training ethnic higher talents has entered into the second phase, the employments of gradustes is important to test the effect of implementation of the policy. To improve and make full use of the programme on fostering more ethnic higher talents and promoting the development of minority areas, it is necessary to investigate the employment options of them.It took the methods of interviews and questionnaires to collect information, which will be interpreted and analyzed by the method of data-analysis. Individual choice behavior is caused by the needs and motivations, the apply motivations affect their learning and emploment options.Combined with Rational Choice Perspective in sociology of James Coleman and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, an classification for apply motivation is made, this thesis is meant to present their motivations, expectations for employment, awareness and understanding of the policy and the perception for administrative departments of education and other relevant regulations and policy in the region obicetively and completely.Based on the interpretation and analysis of the survey data, the author trys to find out that there are many complex factors, inculding policy itself, individual factors, expectations of family and the infulunes of peer groups, the job market, admissions and training departments. The special particulartity of the policy determines the characteristics of enrollment targets, training methods and employment, in accordance with the employment agreement, they must work directionally; Individual’s level of awareness of the policy restricts the expectation and reliance on policy implementation body; under the conditions of market economy, the conceptions of the employer’s affect the options; dmissions and training departments bear an important responsibility for them. How to make efficient guidance and career planning, enhance the employability and entrepreneurship is the key.Through analysing of survey data, it is essential to take some measures to fufill the policy. Firstly, policy-making department should strengthen the coordination and linkage between the various departments, take appropriately supervision to ensure the implementation of the policy steadily and effectively. Secondly, students should establish a correct conception of employment, enhance the employability and expand the employment opportunities. Finally, it is impportant for the main local education administraion and other related departments which undertake the task of traning to strengthen policy implementation capacity, accordign to the development needs of the region, refining recruitment and majors.
