Abstract/Summary:
In the field of geography teaching, application of memory theory is animportant way to improve geography teaching effect. In view of the aboveunderstanding, this study from the cognitive psychology of memory theory,"application of memory theory" in cognition of geographic learning as the researchobject,explore the memory factor in the occurrence development and influence ingeography learning,then provide the theoretical basis for guiding the teachingpractice.First of all, combining the forgetting theory, starting from the forget rule,stressed the importance of establish the association between knowledge structure.To study geography memory from the perspective of the relationship between theknowledge connection problems, teachers should pay attention to guiderelationship between students understanding knowledge of geography informationin the teaching process, will be good at geography knowledge blocks to improvememory efficiency.Second, from the geographical information processing, summarizes threemain task of geographic memory work platform: one is to classify the geographicalinformation, the formation of different types of geographic collection; the two is todetermine the geographic reference system; three is the conversion of geographicinformation. And creatively to classified geographic reference system.Third, pay attention to the interference phenomenon of geography learning.Teachers should be good to find and summarize memory interference in geography learning, so as to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning effect.Finally, in the geography teaching should pay attention to teaching occasionssettings, in the light of its general trend according to the personality characteristics,different students, different personality characteristics enable students to adapt todifferent learning situations.This paper will combine the practical geography teaching from the fouraspects above, found that the combination of memory theory and geographylearning, provide powerful support for geography learning.
