Contemporary education in the context of changing times are constantly engaged ininnovating. Many aspects of classroom teaching is also carrying on the improvement. Most ofthe classroom teaching is too traditional and there are many problems exists in this field.The main research in this paper is the intermediary which use in the geography classroomcase teaching. Specifically, how to fit and screening cases is what the paper wants to say. Caseteaching which mentioned in this article is different from the conventional sense.Screening case is one of the most important links of case teaching. Screening of caseinformation scientifically and selecting more suitable case is the basis of case teaching.This article is in practice with the senior high school geography textbooks and collects,screens optimization and classification the geography information cases used in the teachingof high school. In addition, the paper fits the case information and the teaching material inorder to provides the reality basis for the case teaching of high school geography teachingimplementation.The first two parts of paper provides background for the thesis writing. First of all, thepaper summarizes the lack of information filtering, and get some inspiration for writing in theresearch status at home and abroad from the previous research results teaching experience.Secondly, put forward the content and significance of thesis writing. At the end of this part therelated concepts which will appear in the paper are given some precise definition and therelevant theoretical foundation of this paper will be proposed.The third part provides the narration of collection means for the ways of obtaininginformation and compared to traditional methods and modern methods. The fourth part furtherproposes specific principles of case screening. On the basis of these principles, caseinformation can be collected scientifically and this part sums up the classification differentstandard. Depend on the standard, case information can be divided accurately. Finally puttingforward the adaptation principle, rule-based in case information and materials will be matchedwith the link.The fifth part is the focus of this article. This part is on the basis of the principles which mentioned in the last part match the case and the teaching material content specifically. Thesixth part will assess the true teaching effect by using this idea after screening caseinformation and after the adaptation of materials. Attached to the questionnaire for the studentsto gather information and sum up the experience, enlightenment and the shortcomings. Thethesis finally summarizes the full text and puts forward the prospects of case informationscreening and adapting application.The theme of the content of this study has a certain theoretical guidance meaning of caseteaching. The example used in this paper also provides theoretical basis and empirical modelfor the high school geography teaching in the implementation of case teaching. To a certainextent, it breaks through the traditional teaching limitations, expands the cognitive view ofstudents and enhances the students’ depth cognition on geographical problems. It has vitalsignificance to promote the improvement of teaching high school geography teaching. It canalso provide some reference for the future teaching materials case.
