| In teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, Chinese character teaching has been a huge challenge all the time. Foreign students also treat Chinese characters as one of the main difficult points when they learn Chinese. Especially for students from the cultural cycle of non-Chinese characters, the problem they reflect generally is that it is difficult to learn Chinese characters to a larger extent. As’Chinese fever’appears in the whole world, an increasing number of people learn Chinese. Serving as a key point and difficult aspect in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, Chinese character teaching gradually draws attention from domestic and foreign experts and scholars. Research on Chinese characters and Chinese character teaching also comes forth accordingly. However, some problems and shortages still exist in Chinese character teaching to foreigners and we still need continuous exploration, research and practice. By surveying errors made by students from Grade8at Yucai Chinese School of Mongolia when they write Chinese characters and combining with his own teaching experience, the author tries to classify such errors, analyze main causes and then propose some Chinese character teaching methods with pertinence. Then, the author puts forward some effective Chinese character teaching strategies for students at different stages from the research perspective of constructivism, hoping to help them learn Chinese characters more easily, more quickly and better as well as assist in Mongolia’s research and practice about Chinese character teaching.Research of this thesis is mainly divided into three parts:Part1:’current situation about Chinese character teaching at Yucai Chinese School of Mongolia’. It simply introduces current situation about Chinese teaching at Yucai Chinese School and discusses present situations of Chinese character teaching at the school.Part2:’a survey on Chinese character writing errors made by students from Grade8at Yucai Chinese School’. It classifies Chinese character errors made by students from Grade8at Yucai Chinese School and analyzes main causes for such errors.Part3:’methods and strategies for Chinese character teaching of Yucai Chinese School of Mongolia’. It proposes some Chinese character teaching methods with pertinence and puts forward effective Chinese character teaching strategies for students at different stages from the research perspective of constructivism. |
