This thesis systematically introduces related concepts and features of demonstration teaching mode and analyzes the application of this teaching approach in primary school arts classes by conducting questionnaire and interviews among students and teachers and analyzing specific cases. Also, the literature research, survey research, and case study methods are adopted in drawing the conclusion. Grounded on my cases and hands-on teaching practice, this thesis offers an effective way of demonstration teaching in primary school arts class:construct effective application theory, including design of demonstration content before class, grasp of demonstration opportunity in class, and application of evaluation techniques after-class; introduce the five demonstration forms; give conclusions to the overall research and look into the future of demonstration teaching in primary school art class.
