Our society is in a stage of rapid development, education is one means of developing the country through science and education, education is a top priority and therefore, special education has become an important part of education. Gradually, children with special needs need much attention in all aspects of society, special music education as a an important discipline branch of special education, special music education has gradually taken seriously in recent years by the state, society and school’s. In the process of gradual development, music education has become one of the indispensable discipline in special education school. In some foreign countries, music education are of special importance, but in our country, the development of special music education is not comprehensive. Special music education is majored in visually impaired, deaf, dumb, special children lacking intelligence.In this paper, a special school children music education situation in Taian region was investigated, and sorting out the findings, find a hamper in the development of special music education, and the corresponding analysis of the problem, and finally find the solutions to this problem. I hope this can attract the attention of Tai’an relevant educational departments and together to overcome a series of problems arise, to promote the development of relevant theory and social practiceThis paper is divided into five parts. The preface is an analysis of the current situation of China’s special music education, and then a special significance for the theory of music education and the practical significance in Taian elaborate.The first chapter is an overview of the music education, including research aspects of objects, content, philosophical basis, the value of the meanings and the relationship with music therapy. In the second chapter, we did an actual study in Taian area for the situation of music education in special schools, including the research for schools, teachers, students and their parents, and summarize all aspects of problems existence. In the third chapter we discussed the special music education of Orff music education mode, Dalcroze teaching mode, and Kodaly teaching mode, revealing the importance of the three modes to special children education. In chapter four we prospected the future of special music education and described from the external environment, teachers, academic emphasis, and other aspects of the exchange with the outside world.
