A Study On The Dilemma Of The Development Of Public Welfare Organizations In Colleges And Universities

With the development of social economics coming to a new type, the revolution of high education is going deeper. And the students association is coming into a booming period. The nonprofit association, one of the four types of students’ communities, is an important approach to train the students themselves and devote their love to help the society. They hold lots of charity activities to attract students to join in and do the charity services. But there are still lots of problems about the awareness of charity, the budget, the place which the activities are held, organization management and so on in the development.This article use a nonprofit students association as a analyzing object. And it uses the method of comparison of articles, searching the cases and communication with the students to analyze S Association in university C about the difficulties on the association development and make some suggestions to improve the development. Based on the empowerment theory, there are two dimensionalities of the solutions, internal and external parts, to drive the association to go further. The internal parts is including to enhance the quality of charity, diverse the resources of finance, improve the organization and establish a long-term public propaganda procedures. And the external parts is according to the public participants, government, schools and professional organizations.Based on the facts, the solutions in the article is useful and following up the society. And it gives new vision and suggestions on the diversity of finance resources, including filing the volunteers’ information, cooperating with the foundations and professional organization of social workers. And it is hoped to be a useful analysis and advices for the nonprofit associations.
