Teacher education research is the internal requirement for the implementation of the new curriculum reform, and it is an important way of teacher professional development, in Shenyang junior high school, the new curriculum reform has been taken place for nearly twelve years, as an important aspect of new curriculum reform, reform of the teacher education research should be assessed.The main purpose of this paper is to clear the present situation of chemistry teacher’s education research in Shenyang junior middle school. on the basis of the situation, put forward some reasonable suggestions. The content of the investigation mainly consist of the chemistry teachers’ consciousness education scientific research, the reason for doing it, their ability of taking research, the development status, the influencing factors and their needs when doing education research, at last, the school plays a important role in influencing the teacher education research.This paper is just hopping to provide material to enrich the theory development of chemistry teachers in education and scientific research, and to a certain extent, reveals the junior high school chemistry teachers in the education process, so as to promote the professional development of chemistry teachers in junior middle school in Shenyang.Questionnaire and mathematical statistics methods are used to sort the survey data and trying to analyse the causes of the present situation, Finally, giving some advice for the chemistry teachers, school leaderships, and management training department.Survey results show that Shenyang City chemical teachers’ research consciousness is stronger. The main reason why the chemistry teachers want to do education research is to promote teacher’s professional development, and to solve the practical problems in teaching. The development of teachers’ education and scientific research ability is not balanced. School is the most important factor in affecting teachers’ education research, teachers hope get expert guidance and training.
