A Study On The Correlation Between CAVI, ABI And Body Composition In University Teachers

Abstract/Summary:
Objective: this study selected 20 to 59 years old Shanghai normal university 484 teachers as subjects, according to the age group a total of 232 middle-aged teachers,young teachers and 252 using Inbody3.0 human body composition measurement instrument and Japan’s yasuo VS- 1000 blood vessel hardening of the arteries tester is to test and by means of teachers’ body composition index and heart ankle(CAVI),ankle arm index(ABI) index analysis of test data, find out the index of body composition and heart ankle, ankle arm index correlation index, and analyses the reason of its correlation index, and through controlling the change of body composition index to prevent the occurrence of atherosclerosis, combined with previous research foundation, put forward the aerobic exercise to improve cardiovascular function.Results:(1) the middle-aged teachers vascular elasticity anomaly detection rate is higher than young teachers, middle-aged teachers clogging arteries anomaly detection rate is higher than young teachers. Abnormal vascular elasticity and overall subjects teachers detection rate was 10.2%, the abnormal vascular blockage detection rate7.5% of the total number.(2) age respectively with heart ankle correlation index, the index of ankle arm.Male teachers and heart ankle index correlation coefficient of r = 0.602, female teachers with heart ankle index correlation coefficient of r = 0.491 and P < 0.01; Male teachers and ankle arm index correlation coefficient of r = 0.478, female teachers correlation coefficient is 0.523, and P < 0.01.(3) body composition index of BMI, the ankle with heart muscle mass ratio index(CAVI). Overweight and obese subjects teachers than lighter weight with high incidence of abnormal vascular elasticity; Less muscle mass ratio of subjects teachers more subjects than muscle mass ratio high incidence of abnormal vascular elasticity.(4) the body component index body fat rate index(ABI) has correlation with ankle arm, fat excessive subjects teachers subjects than low fat high occurrence rate of vascular occlusion.Conclusion:(1) the prevalence of atherosclerosis of middle-aged teachers is higher than young teachers, as the growth of the age angiogenesis disease risk is higher.(2) the correlation between male teachers and heart index of the ankle is higher than female teachers, the correlation of male teachers and ankle arm index is lower than female teachers.(3) body composition in the lower body mass index(bmi) can inhibit the heart ankle index increased; The increasing of muscle mass ratio is beneficial to increase the elasticity of blood vessels, maintain the good muscle mass ratio can avoid the hardening of the blood vessel elasticity. For increase the elasticity of blood vessels, to a certain extent, improve their muscle mass ratio, good physical exercise, maintain good body composition ratio can effectively control angiogenesis lesions.(4) reduction of body fat rate is helpful to control the growth of the ankle arm index, if can get effective control of body fat rate are likely to reduce the prevalence of vascular obstruction.
