Application Of CIPP Evaluation Model In Social Service Project

In this study, Researcher used the CIPP evaluation model to assess the "Silver Happy Home" project carried out by Leqi Social Work Service in Yinhang street,Yangpu District, Shanghai.This is a Comprehensive and systematic assessment model which contains context, input, process and product assessment. The purpose of this study is to analysis whether the beneficiaries’ targeted needs are met, whether the project is implemented according to the plan, what are the obstacles encountered in the implementation process, what are the intended and unintended outcomes and what can be improved of this project. The evaluation can not only provide some suggestions for the sustained implementation of the project, but also give some references to the future project of elderly services in planning and implementation.At the same time, researcher explored how to solve the difficulties in the process of running from the perspective of social work. At the end of the article, author also put forward some reflections on the application of the CIPP evaluation model used in social service projects, and carried out some recommendations of the study in future social project evaluation.
