In the context of social change, the modern family is undergoing tremendous changes, such as small family size,nuclear family structure and diversification of family structure.These changes affect family relationships deeply..Intergenerational relationships is an important family relationships, involving the support of filial generation for the parental generation, having an important impact on pension issues.This paper will start from the perspective of the changes in intergenerational relationships with pension issues,and get to know the current situation of the intergenerational relationships change and the impact on pension by empirical data analysis.The author thinks that changes in intergenerational relationships have enhanced the sense of independence of the parental generation, reduced their reliance on their children. However, it will also reduce intergenerational interaction and the promptness of access to resources, which is not conducive to meeting the need of older persons and also is bad for improving the quality of life. Finally, some strategies and recommendations to cope with these impacts will be given,started from the point of social work, combined with the existing domestic and international social work practice.
