A Study On Citizen Consciousness Education Of Qinghai University Students

As a social ideology，the civic awareness，for college students’part，is their reflection ofthe mores，value orientation and code of conduct on the individual and state，individual andsociety，as well as individual and others around the rights and obligations. The civic awarenessmainly is comprised of national awareness，the awareness of national unity，the awareness ofrights and responsibility，legal awareness，the awareness of social morality as well as ecologicaland environmental awareness. The college students are the representatives of the elite of theyouth，bear the important burden of the development of our country in the future. Building up thegood civic awareness of our college students and strengthening their social responsibility as wellas the sense of mission are the factual need to achieve their own development and are the newmissions and tasks faced by society and higher education now.Nowadays，there appear a sequence of current situation at the present time in the civicawareness of college students at school in Qinghai province like a weak social responsibility，thedownwards of moral quality and the lack of legal concept. Under these circumstances，we mustput forward the strategies that the education of the civic awareness of students in Qinghai shouldcombine basic national conditions and special provincial circumstances，highlight the connectionof educational principles of national and local education as well as the education andself-education. And we should keep on eye on the education policy and institution guarantee ofcivic awareness in college students of Qinghai province，improve the educational system andprovide education platform in multiple channel. And we will establish and improve theevaluation system of education in college students of Qinghai so as to come up with some viewsand proposals.
