The Eighteenth Congress of the Communist Party of China first proposed the "Beautiful China" and " the construction of ecological civilization in a prominent position," while the construction of ecological civilization was formally written into the Party Constitution, indicating that the Communist Party and the country attaches great importance to ecological civilization, which is to enrich and develop the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is helpful to address the serious environmental problems of our country, to promote the sustainable development of China’s economy and society, as well as improving people’s living standards.In the new context of "Beautiful China", this paper combines "Beautiful China" and college students’ecological civilization education, and studies the college students’ecological civilization education systematically from the perspective of "Beautiful China". This is an objective requirement for the construction of "Beautiful China", and a need for college students’ecological civilization education to develop itself, as well as an urgent requirement to solve serious environmental problems currently.This thesis is divided into five parts, the first part describes the research premise of the paper, which tells the research status and the theoretical basis of the research in detail, and points out the innovation of the paper, aiming to lay a good foundation for the entire paper. The second part is the paper’s focus and difficulty, it discusses the connotation of the "Beautiful China", that "beautiful China" is the organic unity of environmental beauty, economical beauty, political beauty, cultural beauty, life beauty and human beauty. Based on the description of ecological civilization connotation, this paper discusses the connotation of ecological civilization education, and explores the close links between "Beautiful China" and ecological civilization education at the last of the second part. The third part is divided into three points, the first point describes the requirements of "Beautiful China" on the college students’ecological civilization education, including the requirements for educator, educational objects, educational content and educational methods. The second point is based on the first point, which analyzes the current situation of the college students’ecological civilization education, especially the problems, mainly containing educational content, teaching methods, educational programs and educational practice. The third point analyzes the causes of problems of the college students’ecological civilization education, including lagging educational philosophy, the management of education not in place, the quality of teachers not high, the construction of the educational environment not enough. The fourth part is the second focus of the paper and the end result, it discusses the countermeasures of the college students’ecological civilization education from the perspective of educational force, which put the universities, the family and society together, in order to Maximize the educational force. The fifth part is the conclusion.
