The rapid development of online games has attracted a large number of students, at the same time, along with the advancement of the basic education reform and the implementation of the physical curriculum standard, exploration of teaching renovation is in full swing. As an innovative teaching method, educational games make education and games integrated in-depth and organic, integrating teaching into entertaining and integrating studying into practice, it’s the effective measure to solve the prevalent lack of culture adaptation and knowledge and situational disjointed phenomenon in school physical education, so introduce educational games into the classroom has become an inevitable trend.Although educational game has the penetration from preschool education to university education and vocational education, howerer, some research suggests that educational games in junior high school mostly superficially and less disciplines involved, coupled with the precalence of educational games, such as content and curriculum content inconsistent, complicated operation, particularly education and entertainment imbalance, resulting in the practical application of educational games in junior high school physics struggle. So this study inteds to start from the starting line of educatioonal game-design by departuring for the existing problems and combine the physics characteristics with the target users, then from the abstract and specific attributes depend on GOM to make complete educational game design course; Based on the above design,selecting the physics fragment-"scientific inquiry:friction" to develop the educational game scenario with AE technology and VB6.0development platform, then use the game scenario in assisted teching to do empirical research, analyzing and summarizing the effect of the application of the game case to provide a reference for further research has a certain theoretical and practical significance.This study consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the research background, puts forward the research question, describes the purpose and significance of the research and the main content and research methods applied in the study. The second part is the study of the educational games review and theoretical basis, mainly elaborates the research status both domestic and foreign about the study, concept clear and design theory basis:humanistic learning theory, context cognition theory, Inquiry learning theory, game-object model GOM. The third part expounds the specific design for the junior high school physical education games, mainly includes five parts:curriculum analysis, preliminary research, instructional design of the game, abstract and specific attributes of the game design and game design attributes of system functions, and based on the game script development to realize the game case on the basis of the above design process in order to "scientific inquiry:friction" as an example. The fourth is the application study of the game case, the game case basis as an adjunct research design used in junior high school physics class to explore the impact on learning, including research framework and the variable setting, experimental design, sample applications, statistical analysis of the data and analysis and discussion about the results. The fifth part is a summary and outlook, summarizes the theoretical and practical results of this study and the constraints about the research and the future development direction and focus of this research.The thesis draws the following conclusion through the experiment:(1) Compared with the ordinary classroom teaching methods, two kinds of teaching methods on students’learning performance all improved significantly, but the use of educational games to assist classroom teaching learning performance improvement is more obvious.(2) learners’ physical academic performance presence significant differences with different attitudes toward the use of educational game, the more positive, the better.(3) Compared with negative game satisfaction, learners who have a positive game satisfaction have a better learning performance.(4) The high group grouping learners show more positive learning and game satisfaction the the low group.(5) Learners’attitudes toward the use of educational game and game satisfaction are important parameters to learners’physical academic performance, which has positive correlation between game satisfaction and learning satisfaction.Therefore, from the perspective of the user evaluation, the educational games’ design and development according to the abstract and specific attributes on GOM have a great advantage in terms of education and entertaining balance from the overall effect, changing the prevalent lack of culture adaptation and knowledge and situational disjointed phenomenon in school physical education through simulation for the reproduction of real life scenarios; from the practical application perspective, the use of educational game for middle school physics teaching can effectively improve learning outcomes.
