With the development of education information, innovative teaching model has become an important thrust of education reform. As a new mode of teaching, the flipped classroom has become the current research focus of scholars at home and abroad. The author proven the the flipped classroom based video effectively learning in practice teaching achievements, but also some of the problems were encountered in the previous flipped classroom teaching practice. The Flipped classroom requirements that the knowledge what teaches in class in traditional teaching method will be learned after class, and what teaches after class in traditional teaching method will be learned in class. The flipped classroom is not limited to video form, people can according to the characteristics of students and practitioners of knowledge carrier of knowledge, choose different feature selection.With the rapid development of the game industry, game has become an indispensable part of life in the youth. According to the China Internet Network Information Center released data, it show that at the end of 2014, the network game users reached 368000000, of which the students accounted for 25.1%, much higher than the rest of the population, to become the main force in the game.Educational games as games and education combination, have received extensive attention of scholars at home and abroad, and has been successfully applied in the field of education and teaching. Based on this, the author will combine the educational games and the flipped classroom, using the educational games to learning before class, and put forward the principles and Strategies of the flipped classroom educational game design. Finally as “the game engine instruction “unit of "educational game design" course for content, using the unity3 D,the author designs and develops a educational game named "the dream castle ", and does a application research. The results show that, relative to the flipped classroom based video, the flipped classroom based educational games to stimulate students’ interest, improve teaching effectiveness, improve the ability of autonomous learning has better effect on.This study is divided into 5 parts:The first chapter mainly explains the research background, the significance of the topic, research content, research methods, research ideas and innovation.The second chapter focuses on the concept and the status quot of the research of the flipped classroom, educational games and the flipped classroom based games learning.The third chapter is mainly on the analysis to the design of educational game of flipping the classroom, mainly from the structure of the game, the game theory, design principles and design strategies and other aspects of the game.The fourth chapter is the design and development of a "Dream Castle" game case on the basis of the above analysis. Based on the analysis of "educational game design" course Content the author choose the unit of the engineer to develop named "Dream Castle" educational games.The fifth chapter is the research and application of educational games. Set up the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group uses the flipped classroom form with the educational game teaching, the control group using the flipped classroom with the Video teaching, mainly from the interest in learning, learning ability, learning and other aspects of comparison.
