The Regional and comprehensive characters of geography, determines the complexity of the causal relationship between geographical things or phenomena. Causal relationship of geographical knowledge is an important part of high school geography knowledge system, and the important point of the college entrance examination. There are some confusion in teaching and learning process for teachers and students. However the domestic and foreign researches on the geography causal relationship involved in geography teaching of high school is few. There are few researches targeted to put forward relevant teaching strategies for geography causal relationship teaching in the high school. Therefore, there are certain necessity and practical significance to research the using of geography causal relationship law in geography teaching of high school and relevant teaching strategies. In theory, it’s helpful to enrich the theory of the logic and geography curriculum and teaching from the angle of geography. In practice, it’s helpful to cultivate students’logical thinking ability, promote the implementation of new curriculum reform, and cope with the problems in the geography causal relationship teaching.In this paper, in order to detect the using of the geography causal relationship laws and relevant teaching strategies, five methods are adopted to have the research from the quantitative and qualitative ways. They are listing method, summarized method, case analysis, literature research method and statistical method. This paper used literature research method and summarizes method to research the geography causal relationship, education and teaching theory of domestic and international research, which provides a theoretical basis and some inspiration for this paper. Under the guidance of the related theory in the education teaching, this paper used the methods of statistical analysis and case analysis to analyze the questions of the geography causal relationship in the15test papers of the2013national geographic college entrance examination, and the characteristics of the geography causal relationship problems. Based on the geography causal relationship, this paper discussed and put forward teaching strategies of geography teaching in high school, and according to the current high school textbooks, specified the application of teaching strategies combined with the related cases.By analyzing the geography causal relationship problems in the2013national geographic college entrance examination, this paper made clear that the geography causal relationship is an important knowledge point that examined in the college entrance examination. Besides, it analyzed the characteristics of the geography causal relationship problems in the college entrance examination respectively from the examination of the knowledge, the question types, question forms, the characteristics of presentation and so on. The important knowledge points of geography causal relationship test are the climate factors, the agriculture production location problem, industry production location problem, rivers, lakes and other hydrological problems, the causes of natural disasters, the problems of geological tectonic movement, landform, topography and so on. Based on geography causal relationship, this paper constructs three geography teaching strategies in the high school. They are from the reason guiding the result teaching strategy, from the result guiding the reason teaching strategy and causal comparative teaching strategy. Casual comparative teaching strategy includes itself longitudinal ratio method, causal analogy method, parallel comparison method and the analogy method. Combined with the related cases, separately explain the application of teaching strategies in the high school geography teaching, aimed at providing some meaningful guidance for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.
