In2004a new round of the new senior secondary curriculum reform began inNingxia, Hainan, Shandong, Guangdong Province. In2006, Liaoning Province beganto enter into the ranks of the new curriculum reform. In a sense, we can take theordinary high school curriculum reform as a comprehensive and profound educationalinnovation. One of the prominent characteristics of history subject is to get rid of thecompulsory courses’ previous dominant situation, break through thesinglecompulsorycurriculum system, and form a compulsory and elective course mode. So the study onthe history of seniorhigh school elective curriculum and teaching strategies also havethe extremely important practical significance and guiding significance for promotingthe new curriculum reform. However, compared with a new round of high schoolhistory curriculum reform which has started for nearly ten years, graduate thesis in theelective part is not completely suitable, and there is still more room in the research onteaching content analysis and teaching strategies and other aspects about the moduleof Comments on Chinese and Foreign Historical Figures of Selective High SchoolHistory IV, so it is worth studying and discussing deeply.In this paper, on basis of consulting a large number of books&a great deal ofdata and the analysis of the foundation, through literature research method, qualitativeanalysis method, experience method and data collection methods, combined with theauthor’s years of teaching experience and teaching reflection on history, high in electivecourses and teaching strategies in Shenyang foreign language school, the author didtargeted research, especially on the combination of the module of Comments onChinese and Foreign Historical Figures of Selective High School History IV, and,starting from the historical figures, and attaching extra emphasis to the significance ofsetting elective courses as well as the basic principle in the treatment of electivetextbooks, drew a scientific conclusion. This research has important theoretical andpractical significance to help history teachers to better accomplish the task of teaching,and implement the teaching objectives in the daily teaching work.
