Historical personage throughout the history of the development process,is the focus of historical research,and contains a wealth of educational value.A lively and interesting teaching of historical figures can help students understand the historical process,comprehend historical phenomena,stimulate interest in learning,to cultivate the ability to distinguish right from wrong,make a perfect personality.The new curriculum reform emphasizes the importance of the teaching of history figures,and set up special topics on the history of figures ?Comment on historical figures of China and foreign countries? as a fixed questions of history exam in college entrance examination.Based on a questionnaire survey of middle school students in Xinxiang and interviews with teachers,school administrators and parents.It is found that there are still some problems in the current teaching practice of historical figures: textbooks do not fully reflect the diversity of historical figures,split the teaching content,pale of expression;character history elective module is not ideal,content of courses is not rich enough,extra curricular knowledge supplement not enough;classroom teaching is mainly teacher teaching,teaching activities too single;more interference factors of students,poor discrimination,etc.Aiming at the main problems existing in the teaching of historical figures in Senior High School,it should be improved from three aspects: teaching material compiling,teaching methods and teaching activities: on the compilation of teaching materials,to continue to enrich the historical character type,increase the description of the ordinary people in the textbook,simplify the textbook;on teaching methods,the history teachers should deal with the content of the textbook skillfully,properly supplement the extracurricular knowledge,master the teaching skills,and teach the students how to correctly analyze and evaluate the historical figures.Meanwhile,can be combined with the interests of students and the characteristics of historical figures using a variety of teaching methods.For example,extracurricular practice?play video material,etc.To carry out a wealth of teaching activities to improve teaching efficiency.
