As an important part of teachers affective capability, affective expression is animportant capability of teaching activities required, and teachers’ affectiveexpression in teaching material is one of important capabilities in teaching. But therewere very little empirical studies of teachers affective expression capability andteachers affective expression capability in teaching material before, and the newcurriculum reform put forward higher request to teachers affective teaching,therefore, the study of teachers affective expression capability was of importanttheoretical significance and practical significance.Some research methods such as literature search, questionnaire survey,individual interview, field experiment were used in this paper synthetically. Theresearcher first developed Primary and Secondary School Teachers AffectiveExpression Capability in Teaching Material Questionnaire and Primary and SecondarySchool Teachers Affective Expression Capability in Teaching Material Questionnaire ofInfluencing Factors. And then we investigated the present situation of the primaryand secondary school teachers teaching material expression capability, revealed theinfluencing factors of primary and secondary school teachers affective expressioncapability in the teaching material, at the same time proved the importance ofteachers affective expression capability in teaching material in the classroom usingthe scene teaching experiment.The research indicated that:(1)Primary and Secondary School Teachers Affective Expression Capability inTeaching Material Questionnaire which was composed of two dimensions calledverbal expression and nonverbal expression and Primary and Secondary SchoolTeachers Affective Expression Capability in Teaching Material Questionnaire ofInfluencing Factors which was composed of three dimensions called teachersthemselves, school leaderships and colleagues, and class environment, were in goodreliability and validity, and they can be used as the effective measurement tool;(2)The present situation of the primary and secondary school teachers self-assessment of affective expression capability in teaching material is: The level ofteachers affective expression capability in teaching material is low and needs to beimproved;Female teachers’affective expression capability in teaching material levelis significantly higher than male teachers;Teachers’ affective expression capabilityin teaching material is influenced by the teaching period and course, junior highschool teachers is significantly higher than primary school teachers, the liberal artsteachers and other subjects is significantly higher than science teacher. At the sametime, teachers’ affective expression capability in teaching material is also affected bytitle, teaching experience and academic qualifications. The greatest influencing factoris, followed by teachers themselves, class environment,school leaderships andcolleagues.(3)We proved the importance of teachers affective expression in teachingmaterial in the class using the scene teaching experiment.
