With the gradual cancellation of college student’s distribution policy of our country, the graduates enter the era of choosing occupations freely. And at the same time, because of the increasingly severe employment situation, the work values of undergraduates come into people’s research perspectives. As a special group of undergraduates, the work values of the undergraduates major in primary education directly related to the working state and moral standards of future teachers. But after browsing the related literatures, we can find the existing researches mainly concentrate on the work values of undergraduates and ignore the work values of the undergraduates majoring in primary education. So we need to study the work values of the undergraduates majoring in primary education.Based on the research findings of other people’s, this thesis analyses the compositions and characteristics of work value at first. By breaking work value up into occupation cognition, occupation evaluation, occupation expectation and occupation choice, we can not only gain a deep understanding of the work value, but also provide the basis for the development of the questionnaire about the work value of the undergraduates majoring in primary education. Followed by this, we analyses the ideal work values from the perspective of the school profession training and the professional standards of primary school teachers.But it’s not enough to stay in the ideal requirements level, we pay more attention to the actual situation of the work values of the undergraduates majoring in primary education. Through the questionnaire survey way and supplementary interview way, we investigate the work values of the undergraduates majoring in primary education from three schools. At last, we can find that their work values bear both good and bad sides. On the basis of the conclusion, we analyses the related factors that may affect their work values.Lastly, the thesis concentrates on the pre-service cultivation of the work values of the undergraduates majoring in primary education, before which we make a discussion of the necessity and possibility of the pre-service cultivation. Then we discuss the educational countermeasures of the pre-service cultivation from the school part, which contains the professional identity education of freshmen, the professional skills training of sophomores and juniors, the occupational guidance of seniors and the educators’ oaths at the graduation ceremony four parts.
