Practical Research On Carrying Out Research Study In Geography Teaching In Senior High School With Local Geography

High school geographical curriculum standards proposes requests to pay attention to the problem of research on geography, so geography needs research study. The abundant content of local geography provided wealth material to research study. By the local geography for the most familiar to the students, local geography research study can help the students to improve the ability to find the problem and solve the problem. Local geography is important part of the geography teaching, but this part is often been ignored in the teaching process for various reasons. The current high school students can not raise the ability because of the lack of the necessary knowledge reserve. Development of research study combined with local geography in senior high school not only can enlarge the students’basic knowledge of geography, but also can improve the students’ability of finding the problem, analyzing the problems and solving the problem. The study meets the senior secondary teaching goals.This article discusses how to develop the research study in the senior school geography teaching procedure with the combination of the local geography. In the teaching practice to undertake such research study is full of difficulties, which is also the key problem to solve in this paper. This paper introduces the basic theory and the relationships of local geography and research study and the advantage of research study with local geography mainly by literature survey method and experiences in practice. This paper studies the procedures, strategies and assessment of research study combined with local geography and extracurricular monographic research of local geography in geography teaching process by literature research, experimental study and case study. The paper also points out the existing problems in the practice and puts forward strategies.This paper helps to change traditional teaching and learning model and carry out research study with local geography research in the high school more effectively and practically.(1) This paper studies the models and strategies of combination with local geography activities in high school geography teaching, which can stimulate students’ thoughts and help student explore problems;(2) The other side of the paper discusses how to combine the research study with local geography and improve the students’abilities of finding the problem, analyzing the problem and solving the problem comprehensively and systematically by monographic research.
