The Return Of American Special Education To The Mainstream Movement And Its Enlightenment

With the progress of civilization, the level of special education’s development hasbecome an important standard to measure a country’s level of development. Americanspecial education only started in nineteenth century, however it has been rapidlydeveloped in twentieth century，and now as a most developed country has becomeone of the world’s most famous inclusive education. The mainstreaming movementwhich occurred in the sixties and seventies of the20th century plays a very importantrole in the ifeld of American special education.
